Highlights of the Day (Sunday 10.09.2005)

1) Woke up to a pot of coffee already brewed. Good boy, Steve! ;)

2) Was rushed out the door by Steve to go look at appliances. I'm sorry dear. Maybe you think getting home to make your bullets is important. The rest of us, however, don't really give a shit and don't feel like running around like idiots while you bark orders at us to hurry up.

3) Ate at Applebee's after the Lowe's visit, where I dined on a fabulous appetizer sampler and a steak with shrimp on top, smothered with cheese and garlic. Dear god it was good...

4) Managed to get two other people to tell Steve that stainless steel appliances is indeed the way to go. Slowly but surely...

5) Was simultaneously freaked out, saddened, excited, proud, and sentimental when my mom discovered that Grace's two bottom front teeth are loose. She can't be losing her teeth already. She's too little. [sniff sniff]

6) Took Hannah to my parents' house today in Grace's WAY too large water shoes. Because they were blue and they matched her outfit. And her white sneakers with the pink hearts didn't. God forbid. [rolling eyes]

7) Realized that on days when I don't have my kids here for the majority of it, very little happens, it's a rather boring day, and it makes for crappy blog entries. ;)
