Highlights and Observations of the Day (Tuesday)...
1) Sent Gracie off to her first day in the Pre-K room at daycare. *sigh* She's getting so big...
2) Realized that since having children, I say, "We'll see..." way more than I used to. It's a damn shame those children automatically assume that means "Yes."
3) Did pretty much nothing productive, other than wash a few dishes. I suck.
4) Ate junk food all day long. I suck.
5) Ate Cheetos and thought of my friend Emily. ;)
6) Unlike her, I ate the Cheetos and smoked a cigarette. I suck.
7) Decided that the whole menstruation thing for women who know (or are pretty sure) they are done having children, is just another one of nature's cruel jokes.
8) Hand washed one of Hannah's shirts, complete with bleach, because she informed me that she is wearing a shirt with buttons to daycare tomorrow. (Seriously... the kid is two. And this whole obsession with buttons is becoming a bit disturbing.)
9) Laughed my ass off for the one billionth time when Hannah called her bathing suit her "swimming soup."
10) Realized I will be soooo bummed when she finally says it correctly. :(

My favorite is when my daughter asks me how Gramma Grape is doing everytime we pass a cemetary. We are pretty sure she is talking about Grandma Great but don't quote me on that...
I'll be very sad when Clara starts saying Tarzan instead of 'car-ass'.
The family room looks great! I can't post on the boards.
LOL! Whenever I say "we'll see," DH and both kids yell "NO!" because that's what I really mean.
Well no is what I mean too. Unfortunately, the kids didn't get that memo... LOL!
*sigh* in our house the word is "maybe" and Calista is *positive* that means yes.
And YES, why is it, if you are done w/ kids you still must menstrate?!?! Uh, NO THANKS.
LOL
Julia says "bark-en-you" instead of "barbeque". She said it properly last week and I corrected her...I was like, "No, it's barkenyou."
Cheetoes so totally rock...
(BTW I am now smoking and cheetoe eating....dammit)
Lurker from peanut-Emily's blog here...
I just wanted to say that when my 4yo watches cartoons she wants everything she sees and asks for it. I used to say "we'll see" and "maybe" but then she started arguing with that so I just started saying "SURE!" because it would shut her up quicker lol. I'm sure it will come back to bite me in the ass at some point. But for now, it buys me some peace and quiet (until the next commercial comes on, anyway).
