And it’s the best damn thing you’ll ever eat. It’s basically pickled bologna. Sounds disgusting, I know. But I assure you, it’s heavenly. Just heavenly… Mmmmm….
Y'all don't know what you're missing. I can assure you that if I hadn't grown up with the stuff, I too would be "throwing up in my mouth just a little" if someone showed me that picture. But alas, I DID grow up around it and it truly is GOOD.
People, I am the pickiest eater on the face of the planet. I don't eat fruits. I don't eat vegetables. And I don't eat anything that a 4-year-old wouldn't eat. But hot bologna? I'd cut off my left tit for the stuff if need be. Mmmmm....
Geena, what's crazy is that I have a neighbor who thinks bagged milk is the best thing ever. She dated this Canadian guy and whenever she went up there with him she used to bring a cooler so she could bring it home.
September really??!! I can't imagine anyone wanting to import the stuff LOL. I buy the milk in a bag here, but i don't even keep it that way. It immediately gets poured into sealed containers..
y'all are just crackin' me up. LOL! I, for one, could not find any hot bologna in my local grocery store to send to Geena and Kath. However, they did make a mean funny cake and shoo fly pie. Down here they sell Bimboletas, and the name makes me laugh.
It is yummy. Never had it until the JB G2G in PA years ago. That, scrapple, shoo-fly pie...food you can only get in PA that most others think you are NUTS for loving. LOL

Oh sweet jesus. It's been a long time since I've thought of hot bologna. I'm throwing up in my mouth just a little right now...
You just shut UP! Hot bologna freakin' ROCKS! (Seriously. You'd honestly love it. For real.) LOL!
Jesus...I'd sucessfully blocked that out of my mind forever (along with the bagged milk, lol) and you had to bring it up again. With a PHOTO no less??
Damn you, Allison.

See, now shoo-fly pie is good (but then anything in a pastry crust tends to get my endorsement).
