Hey, it's something...
Yeah. I know it's not much. But considering the lack of progress on the kitchen lately, anything is good as far as I'm concerned. Now that the window is in and that wall is studded out, we can get the electrician and the plumber in here. After that, we can drywall and the room may start to actually look like a real room again. The new window is about a foot bigger in length and width and has the look of 16 separate smaller panes. We would've loved to go even bigger, but then we would've had to sacrifice some wall cabinets and we didn't want to do that.

ReplyDeleteThe electrician should be here within a week or two. Our plumber is actually my FIL (LOL), so hopefully he'll get down here soon too. Once the pipes and wires are in, Steve can drywall. In the meantime, we have to pick appliances and order the cabinets. After the drywall comes the floor and by then, hopefully the cabinets will be in and we'll be close to having a damn kitchen again. LOL!
